Having grown up in the Boston Massachusetts area, Dr. Murano is an avid New Englander. Dr. Murano returned to the Boston area to complete his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he was awarded the title Clinical Fellow of Surgery and served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. Dr. Murano enjoys treating all aspects of the foot and ankle with a specialty interest in sports medicine. He has written and published numerous papers to help advance the profession over the years. He is actively involved with the profession at both the state and national level. When not working Dr. Murano enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and staying physically active with both running and Crossfit.
