Originally from Lowell, Massachusetts, Dr. Ouellette is excited to return to his home state after receiving advanced training at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes with foot and ankle issues using innovative evidence-based techniques. Dr. Ouellette offers expertise in surgery (bunions, hammertoes), arthritis, flatfeet, heel and joint pain, fungal toenails, wound care, and complications with peripheral vascular disease/diabetes. He also enjoys treating athletes with sports injuries allowing them to resume competitive activity. When creating a personalized treatment plan, Dr. Ouellette collaborates with his patients and their other medical providers to enable his patients to achieve greater health.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at The University of Massachusetts Amherst. He then completed his medical education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He was accepted to Yale-New Haven Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program and ultimately served as Chief Resident, completing comprehensive training specializing in foot & ankle reconstruction and limb salvage. Dr. Ouellette is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medicine Association (APMA) and is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
In his free time, Dr. Ouellette enjoys spending time with his fiancé Sydney, walking their dog Olive around Boston, golfing and watching professional football.
